Dining Room Update...

I'm still plugging away. I have currently taken a brief moment away from painting RED to update you all on our progress. It's slow but STEADY which I couldn't be happier about. (We have a tendency to rush into something and then let it go wayside. )

Anyhoo... here's a couple pictures of the advancements we've made. Still keeping my fingers crossed that we've selected the "right red". Keep in mind the first pic is a bit dark as the light comes into the window (I've tried to block with a towel but to no avail-) and the second pic seems true to color as the window in the first pic lets the light in the room to hit that wall.

Another coat of red, baseboards, and the floor to go. We're moving right along.

Hey girl! Is it your birthday??? If so, I pray God's richest blessings to rest upon you this year and always!

The room looks GREAT! Red is SO hard to paint! We tried it in our downstairs bath...never got it done. Jeff repainted it ivory last night - no more red for us! It's a daunting task!

Love ya!

It looks nice, Chelle'! What red did you end up with? (Did I ask you this already?).

Tara- it's Sherwin Williams "Antique Red". I wasn't sure about it at all... prayed AUDIBLY the entire time I applied it to the walls. It looked orange in the tray and on the walls until it dried the most beautiful red EVER. We love it.
