First Remote Post...

Oh Yes, I said it. I'm as giddy as a school girl at three o'clock. I'm posting from the local panera bread... on a Saturday morning without my children. It's Phenominal.

The background story making today possible is a great one so I will share...

A few months back Paul won a 1000 gift card to Best Buy. We went back and forth thinking on what we would use it toward. We settled on the Ipods and the Bose docking station. GREAT CHOICES by the way. We both love them.

A few weeks back Paul accepted a new position with a bank and was blessed with a wonderful sign on bonus. At that time the topic of the lap top came up again. We COULD have purchased one, certainly, but felt that it wasn't really a need we had... much more of a luxury. So- we opted against it.

It was really my 'last hope' for the lap top. Until... Caeden's enrollment at the cyber school was completed and his teacher (Also Brenden's teacher- we've had her for over 2 years now... she truly is the BEST) contacted us to say that Caeden's curriculum was ordered and that she wanted to know if we wanted another computer or if the one Brenden currently works with would be fine. (See where I am going here????? Isn't God GOOOOOOD!

I emailed her immediately and asked if it would be possible for us to receive a lap top instead of a desk top as we tend to travel frequently to see family, for Lyme treatment etc. And somehow- she worked it out. (God worked it out.)

Amanda emailed back 15 hours later saying she was able to have that request approved. So now, here I sit, on the lap top she requisitioned on our behalf. And just in time too... we travel to my Lyme Dr. on November 8th. :)

In the off chance that Amanda ever pops in on this blog... THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR CARING ENOUGH ABOUT THE NEEDS OF OUR FAMILY THAT YOU WOULD ARRANGE FOR US TO RECEIVE A LAP TOP!!!!! YOU REALLY ARE THE BEST!!!

And that's the story I have for you. And it's a good one for my first "remote post" isn't it?????
