It is Friday December 21, 2007 and I am happy to report that I am FINISHED. Finished shoppig, cleaning, preparing, card sending, shuttling of children to activities and yes, even working. The only thing standing between me and Christmas morning is TIME!
Well, that and gift wrapping... but I don't consider that a burden. It may well be my favorite part of the holiday next to Jesus... and well, the kids joy when they open their presents. It's my favorite ME-TIME... in the quiet, after everyone's asleep, Christmas music playing, candles burning... tree lights lighting... and me praying over each present for the person who will unwrap it.
Ahhhh... it feels good.

You little stinker! I am trying not to covet your blessing Chelle. I came to your blog to play your music as I clean up the rest of my kitchen. I have a ceramic turkey bowl in hand (remnants of Thanksgiving...YES, I said thanksgiving) still to be put away. But after this morning I will only have to oversee the children wrapping their gifts to their grandparents. YIPPEE!!!
Blessings my friend! Joanne
That's great, Chelle'. :) I just finished wrapping and only have one gift to buy (and it's a birthday gift). However, my house is a disaster--thankfully I am not hosting this year!!!
Every time I read your blog I find we have more and more in common. I LOVE wrapping! I even wrap my mother-in-laws gifts sometimes. That is on top of working 30 hours a week, 3 kids, and my own Christmas stuff. I didn't wrap hers this year, however. Just didn't have the time. Maybe next year.
