If this were second grade I would raise my hand and say, "Here" in response to the emails I've received wondering where I am and if I am coming back to blogland.
I wish I could say I've been busy doing things that directly impact the kingdom of God... or that I have been away on a media fast to spend extra time with the Lord... or.... or .... or....
Truth is- I haven't been doing much of anything (noteworthy) lately. And most definitely haven't purposed to be away from the blog for reasons pertaining to Godliness or the like.
Nope.
I've been at the playground. At the pool. At the bike park. On the trail. In the sun. Cooking on the grill. Spending time with new friends. And babysitting a precious baby. (Though not for long enough periods of time)
I've taken friends to church- a real highlight in my week. And spent afternoons riverside having lunch, laughs and lattes.
I've no excuse for not blogging other than I've been doing. Doing this and doing that. And all the while wondering if anything I am doing is blogworthy.
So, until it is that I have something to share that hasn't already been shared on the blog a gazillion times (ie. pictures of kids hanging on monkey bars or posing for cameras) I'll just stop by to say, "Here I AM! Present and Accounted for."

I was wondering, but the things you were doing were important - so you're excused! It is good to hear from you though!
