I must preface this with the fact that we only signed her up because upon mentioning the idea... she insisted she be a part. It started 6 weeks ago when I got the idea that this would be a great time for her to become involved with ballet. The studio said they began in September and that they would contact us. Two weeks ago we signed up and she hasn't stopped talking about it since.
So WHY, I ask you, did she DO NOTHING (in tap shoes) for 30 minutes tonight... and NOTHING (in ballet shoes) for 30 minutes????
I suppose I should just be happy that for the FULL HOUR... she was the PRETTIEST little girl in the room.

Absolutely refusing to do what the other girls were doing.
(Sidenote- she wasn't angry... she was supposed to have her hands on her hips and be on the red line... she obeyed those rules without falter. Even when she was to skip across the room.)
The lesson ended with her in tears because the teacher wanted to hold her hand and help her do the steps. Nice.
And tonight ended when she came home and excitedly showed me EVERY MOVE she learned without stopping.

Ahhhh, the beginning of a series of many "TRIES". You know, you tried soccer, softball, swimming, gymnastics, piano lessons, violin, etc, etc! If she finds some joy in it, then I think it is worth the TRY! :) Heidi
SO cute! Looks like her hair has grown back in pretty nicely!
WAY TOO CUTE!!!!!
Awwww.....so cute. Pam has a little girl like that. :) However, she usually had more tears and not just dirty looks. She has mostly outgrown it I think. Give K time and she'll jump right in. I hope!
