Can I Get A Witness??

Alright, my guess is you're expecting some overly theological post by where I submit a well thought through topic with examples and metaphors... scriptural references to back up and life application and then you in return dish out a hearty and deep felt AMEN and HALLELUJAH!!!!

That's not exactly the case however... not the first part anyway.

I am looking for the AMEN and HALLELUJAH!!!

Here's what's going on. I have two birthday parties the weekend of March 1st. One here, and one at a local pool. For these parties I have extended family traveling to our home THIS weekend to help with some home repairs in our kitchen. (Drywalling a ceiling... )

In a rush to get my house COMPLETELY in order, minus the kitchen ceiling, before the inlaws arrive... I dug into my kids room to repaint and redecorate the walls. (And yes, I did say kid'S room- as in three kids... one room.)

Here's what I would like to know from you... DOES ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE LIVE LIKE THIS????????

For Pete's sake, despite the fact that I didn't view their room to be messy when I walked into it... the process of moving EVERYTHING in it to the center of the room and then all miscellaneous propaganda from under beds, dressers, and book cases on top of other said fixtures... has made it all look like this. And so I am asking, "Can I Get A Witness Up In Here?"

Just so you know... and just so I feel a little better about putting our "dirty laundry" into cyber-space... usually the kids' room would look like THIS. (The last three pictures that is...)

Are you crazy? I think that you need to check just what they are putting into your IV.

THREE ROOMS CHELLE?!?

I can't wait to see the results. Try and take it slow my friend.

Love, Joanne

First I must echo Joanne! I'm reading this, thinking 3 rooms? Is Chelle' crazy? Does she not have an IV yet? Maybe I need to pray for her mental stability as well as her physical strength!
Anyway - you have an amen from me - Last year Andy went to Guatemala on a mission trip. I thought the week he was gone was the perfect time to paint his room. I got more than I bargained for when I started moving things and emptying the closet. I bet every Mom has been there. Good luck to you and don't overdo it!

Ok everyone I am confused...lokking through pictures, reading the comments, it's one room right? Three children in one room? Anyways, YES we live like that too. You've seen pictures of my house when we painted the living room and then pictures of our bathroom when we ripped it all apart...the bathroom is still ripped apart. It takes a huge mess to get it all done, but afterwards it will be great! You sure are ambitious though! Best of luck and have a blast at all your parties!

I have two kids in each room and there are days that there mess spills into the living room.
but for the most part they arent too bad

We remodeled all the bedrooms in the house, with the bathrooms on the to do list. Two years ago we had a fire and got the entire house remodeled... while we rented a house at the expense of the insurance company.

I am over painting walls for a while. Good luck to you

Nothing like having house guests to really get you in gear to clean and repaint! Good luck!
