K-girl was frustrated. Angry even. Her brothers had ticked her off. What did they do you ask? Got me. I wasn't there. But I heard the aftermath. It went something like this...
K: You're prophetic!!!
K: YOU'RE PROPHETIC!!! And I'm mad at you.
B: What does that mean? And where did you get that?
K: Hannah Montana! (cross arms, exhale loudly.)
B: Ooooooooh... I'm PATHETIC! And no I'm not. And that's not kind. And mom's gonna be mad because I'm gonna tell her.
Enter me- "No I'm not mad. No you're not going to tell me. And no K-girl... B-boy's neither PROPHETIC or PATHETIC. But he is right in that calling someone pathetic is not kind and shouldn't be done."
I could be wrong here but ONLY in a Christian home can a child angrily call someone "prophetic." Only in a Christian home can a child confuse prophetic and pathetic. Only in a Christian home can a mom over hear a conversation like the one listed above... right?
Now that I think about it however, B-boy may not be prophetic now but one day he may well be... and should that be the case- that will also mean that K-girl already is!! (Hee-Hee-Hee)
